Capitalize Your Finances as an NFL Player: Episode 77

Are you an NFL player who’s made it onto a team for this year?  Congratulations!  That’s something that so very few athletes are able to accomplish.  At the same time, it’s important to know that having achieved that status means you’ve got your work cut out for you, in more ways than one.

Beyond the work you have to do on the field, you’ve got things to consider off the field – not the least of which is your finances.  Even if you’re “just” making the league minimum salary, that’s still a lot of money that you’ll need to make last, because unlike most non-athletes, you can’t say with any certainty when your career will be over.

How do you plan for your future outside of football?

How do you approach investing and planning at that level of income?
And how can you build a savings when the temptation to spend and spend some more is overwhelming?

These are just a few of the questions I’ll ask – and answer! – on today’s episode of CAPitalize Your Finances!
