Today’s program will be entirely devoted to answering your questions, things many of you have written to me about over the past few weeks. I will be doing so using a slight twist of finance by focusing on the world of entrepreneurship. This is a huge topic for many of you CAPitalizers out there.
I should say right off that being an entrepreneur is not for everyone. Those of you who are excited to get into the world of running your own business need to know that the title of business owner comes with a tremendous amount of responsibility and stress; your character is on the line every single day, exponentially more than those who work for you.
That being said, it’s time to answer the big questions of entrepreneurship: How do you avoid making business mistakes that are obvious in hindsight, but not so obvious at the time? What would I say was my biggest “failure,” and what would I have done differently when I first started in this business? And with so much to think about in the business world, how would I advise someone to balance everything out?
